Rising Phoenix Karatedo is a traditional Karatedo dojo/school. Our members include children (starting at 6 years of age) and adults, women and men. We all train together in an environment that is fun, challenging, spirited, intelligent, safe and respectful. Our training is non-contact, with an emphasis on focus, self-control, self-discipline, and self-respect. Sensei Daniel has over 30 years professional teaching experience.

We hold classes on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at Centennial Recreation Center, a City Of Toronto Community Center located at 1967 Ellesmere Rd. Scarborough. In addition to learning a traditional Martial-Art and basic self-defence skills, training at Rising Phoenix Karatedo is a fun way to get or stay in shape; physically, psychologically, and spiritually. It is also a great way for families to spend time together, and we offer deeply discounted family rates to encourage this. Even if you do not qualify for the family rate, you will find that our training fees are some of the lowest around, and that the quality of instruction is excellent.
